1. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DATA
The QuietCrypto service is operated by Lenoir GAMMA (Romain Lenoir, sole trader, IDE CHE-205.680.940), Rue des Arts 7, 1450 Sainte-Croix, Switzerland. The operator decides which data is processed and why: it is the «controller» within the meaning of the law. Any question about your data can be sent to support@quietcrypto.com.
2. WHAT DATA WE PROCESS
We only collect what the service needs to run:
account data: email address, password (never stored in clear text), name, interface language;
billing data: billing name, postal address, payment history, transaction references (TXID);
API keys for your exchange account: stored encrypted (AES-256); they are used only to read your balance and place orders — they allow no withdrawal;
trading data: positions, orders, results and history attached to your account;
support messages: the content of your requests and our replies;
connection data: IP address, browser used and login date, kept for the security of your account;
referral data: code used at sign-up and number of referrals.
We never ask for your exchange login credentials, your withdrawal keys or your identity documents.
3. WHY, AND ON WHAT BASIS
To run the service (create your account, transmit orders, track your balance) — performance of our contract;
To bill and keep accounts — performance of the contract and legal accounting obligations;
To answer your requests — performance of the contract;
To secure the service (detecting abnormal logins, preventing fraud) — legitimate interest;
To inform you of your deadlines (renewal reminders) — performance of the contract.
Your data is used neither for advertising nor for profiling, and is never sold.
4. WHO CAN ACCESS IT
The operator and the providers strictly required, each for its own part:
Stripe — card payment processing (receives your billing and payment data);
Brevo — sending transactional emails (invoices, reminders, support replies);
Your exchange platform (Bitget or Hyperliquid) — the platform where orders are executed, within your own account;
Polygon — the public network used for USDT payments: a transaction there is visible to everyone, with its amount and identifier;
Cloudflare (cdnjs) and Tailwind CDN — delivery of styling and icon files; those servers see your IP address when pages load;
our hosting provider, for data storage.
No data is passed on for advertising purposes.
5. TRANSFERS OUTSIDE SWITZERLAND
Some providers (Stripe, Brevo, Cloudflare, Tailwind) are established, or process data, outside Switzerland and outside the European Union. These transfers rely on the contractual safeguards those providers have put in place (in particular the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses) and are limited to what the service requires.
6. HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
account and trading data: for as long as your account exists, then deleted within 30 days of your request;
invoices and accounting records: 10 years, a legal retention requirement in Switzerland;
login logs: 12 months;
support messages: 3 years after the ticket is closed;
API keys: deleted as soon as you remove them from the service or close your account.
7. COOKIES AND TRACKERS
This site uses no advertising cookies, no analytics trackers and no third-party tracking tools. Only three technical cookies are set:
session cookie — keeps you logged in during your visit (removed on log-out);
qc_lang — remembers the language you browse the site in (1 year);
pending_referral — holds a referral code during sign-up (4 minutes).
These cookies are strictly necessary, so they require no prior consent. You can delete them at any time in your browser settings.
8. SECURITY
Your API keys are encrypted (AES-256) and allow neither withdrawal nor transfer of funds. Passwords are stored as hashes. Traffic with the site is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to data is limited to the operator. No system is infallible, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if an incident affected your data, we would inform you, and the competent authority where the law requires it.
9. YOUR RIGHTS
Under the Swiss Data Protection Act (nFADP) and, where applicable, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), you may:
access the data we hold about you and obtain a copy;
have inaccurate data corrected;
request deletion of your data, within the limits of our legal retention obligations;
object to processing or request that it be restricted;
receive your data in a machine-readable format (portability).
To exercise these rights: support@quietcrypto.com. We reply within 30 days. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, Switzerland) or the data protection authority of your country of residence.
10. MINORS
The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data about minors; if you believe an account belongs to a minor, write to us so we can delete it.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
This policy may change as the service evolves. The applicable version is the one published on this page, with its update date. We will inform you by email of any significant change.
12. CONTACT
For any question about this policy or your data: support@quietcrypto.com, or by post to Lenoir GAMMA, Rue des Arts 7, 1450 Sainte-Croix, Switzerland.
